Say his name three times! Devilishly funny David Fynn will be unleashing mayhem in the iconic lead role of Beetlejuice at the Prince Edward Theatre from May.

Based on Tim Burton’s beloved movie classic, this wildly funny – and weirdly life-affirming – musical tells the tale of Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager sharing her home with a pair of newly-deads and the demonic ghost with the most, Beetlejuice. He’s dead trouble, but if you really want to feel alive, just say his name three times…

David’s acclaimed, out-of-this-netherworld stage work includes his hilarious, Olivier-nominated portrayal of Dewey Finn in School of Rock, as well as She Stoops to Conquer and Much Ado About Nothing for the National Theatre, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at the Donmar Warehouse. He is joined by Hannah Nordberg (Euphoria, The Devil You Know, Longmire) as Lydia Deetz, David Hunter (Time Traveller’s Wife, Apollo Theatre; Waitress, Adelphi Theatre and UK Tour; Kinky Boots, Adelphi Theatre) as Adam Maitland, and Chelsea Halfpenny (Emmerdale, Casualty, 9 to 5: The Musical and Waitress) as Barbara Maitland. More cast information can be found below.

BEETLEJUICE earned several Tony nominations, including Best Musical.

With a gleefully irreverent book, head-spinning set design and a score that’s out of this Netherworld, BEETLEJUICE is a ‘feast for the eyes and soul’ (Entertainment Weekly). Outrageous, but with a big (cold) heart, this is ‘screamingly good fun!’ (Variety) that’ll make you want to live – and make the most of every Day-O!

The 8-time Tony Award-nominated musical is directed by Tony Award nominee Alex Timbers (Moulin Rouge!Peter and the Starcatcher), with an original score by Tony Award nominee Eddie Perfect, a book by Tony Award nominee Scott Brown and Tony nominee Anthony King, music supervision, orchestrations, and incidental music by Kris Kukul, and choreography by Connor Gallagher.
