  • Based on transcripts from the famous trial between Colleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy, VARDY V ROONEY: THE WAGATHA CHRISTIE TRIAL will be dramatised at London's Ambassadors Theatre for a limited run this winter.

A story stranger than fiction that blurs the boundaries of tabloid scoop, court case and soap opera, this trial explores privacy and celebrity in modern Britain whilst asking who is Davy Jones and where exactly is his locker?

A court case turned soap opera turned play, this production has had viewers laughing out loud while also questioning the privilege of privacy that many public figures don't seem to have. Adapted by Liv Hennessey and edited from seven sensational days of High Court transcripts, this play is directed by Lisa Spirling, with casting to be announced. Witness the case of Rebekah Vardy v Coleen Rooney unfold in their own words.

While the country was captivated, only a handful of people witnessed what happened behind closed doors. Now you can too.
