Akram Khan performs a powerful kathak solo, the classical dance form from North India. The charismatic bansuri flute and tabla drums players Pravin Godkhindi and Supreet Deshpande follow with a series of beautiful ragas - one of the key structures of Indian music evoking different emotional modes linked to different times of the day.
Then Rajesh Vaidya, a musician from the great Carnatic tradition of South India, performs with the percussionists B Harikumar and Ghatam V Suresh.
