    The highlight of the V&A's India Festival, The Fabric of India will be the first major exhibition to explore the dynamic and multifaceted world of handmade textiles from India from the 3rd to the 21st century.
    Showcasing the best of the V&A’s world-renowned collection together with masterpieces from international partners and leading designers, the exhibition will feature over 200 objects, many on display for the first time. Visitors can expect a stunning range of historic dress, heirloom fabrics, and cutting-edge fashion.
    The astonishing skills and variety evident in India’s incomparably rich textile tradition will surprise and inform even those with prior knowledge of the subject, and is sure to delight visitors.

    Advance online and telephone tickets must be booked at least 24 hours prior to visit. Advance ticket bookings are available online and via the V&A Advance Booking Line until 10.00 on the day prior to the next scheduled exhibition date (Saturday and Sunday advance bookings are available until 10.00 on the prior Friday). Limited tickets are available to purchase at the Museum on the day of your visit. You are advised to arrive at the V&A for when the Museum opens at 10.00 for the best chance of purchasing a ticket. Please note tickets bought on the day may not be for immediate entry to the exhibition, but for later on that day. Some queuing time may be expected.

    CHILDREN UNDER 12 ARE ADMITTED FOR FREE WHEN ACCOMPANIED BY A PAYING ADULT, AND DO REQUIRE A FREE TICKET place to be booked. Please select the free under-12s tickets from the bottom of the pricing list when completing your ticket purchases.

    V&A Members enjoy free entry to exhibitions during usual Museum visiting hours and DO NOT need to pre-book, although they may be asked to queue with ticket-holders at busy times. Members are asked to bring additional ID, such as a bank card or driving licence with them.

    Please ensure you select your correct date prior to checkout. TICKETS CANNOT BE EXCHANGED OR REFUNDED.

    The V&A advises that you do not buy tickets or Memberships from unauthorised sellers. Authorised advance tickets are only available from the Museum or via LOVEtheatre and FNAC tickets. V&A Membership can only be purchased via the V&A Website or from the Museum. Memberships are non-transferrable and can only be used by the named card holder.

    Any ticket or Membership re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain without written permission from the V&A becomes void and the holder may be refused entry or ejected from the venue. Any customer unsure of the legitimacy of a website should contact the Museum before purchasing their tickets.
